Discover books children will love to read
What You Will Find on This Site
Books Kids Like features summaries of children’s books suitable for ages 6-14. The age categories serve as a recommendation, but I recognize that reading ability and maturity differ with each child.
I have read all of the books listed on this site and written all of the book summaries. They give you just enough information to peak your interest. You can trust that they are not copied from Amazon, Goodreads, Library Thing, other book review sites, or other blogs.
The summaries are not reviews, because I do not express my opinion about the books. Reading is subjective. My inclusion of a book means I enjoyed reading it and think others will too. Some book summaries include notes that give additional information and internet links for more exploration. If there is any potentially distressing material in a book, you will find a cautionary comment.
