- Manage affiliate marketing. We have an affiliate relationship with Amazon Affiliates. They pay us a small fee when a visitor on our site follows a link to their site and makes a purchase there. You can find more information on Amazon’s website.
- Enable a visitor to link to social media sites (such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). For more information on social media links see the policies on their websites.
Visitors can contact us using our contact form, signup for our newsletter, or join our site as a Guest.
News Subscribers
News Subscribers are persons who ask to receive our newsletters or news releases. They do this by completing the Newsletter Form, where they provide their email address and consent to receive periodic emails. Our software securely transmits requests. We retain names and email addresses until a subscriber asks to be removed from our list. Our email service uses the names and email addresses to periodically send out newsletters and news releases. We do not sell or trade the names and email addresses of News Subscribers. Each email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
Persons Asking Questions through Our Contact Form
Persons Asking Questions are persons who uses our Contact Form to ask a question or make a comment (other than contributing a comment to a blog post or interacting on a forum). The person completes a contact form by providing their name, email address, and question or comment and asks that we contact them. Our software securely transmits the message. Our software preserves the thread of correspondence to ensure continuity. We retain all comments received and responses so we can serve our audience and to protect our company in the event of litigation. We do not sell or trade the names and email addresses of persons asking questions or contacting us through our contact form.
Guests
Guests are persons who become guest members of this site. They enlist as Guests by completing a guest form where they supply their name and email address, create a unique username and password, agree to the terms of guest membership, and agree to confirming their email address. Our software securely transmits their information. Our software preserves the information so we can serve our Guests and so they can post comments on our blog and forum. Following a request to become a Guest, we review the request, and either approval the request and provide access or deny the request. We inform each candidate by email of approve or the reason for denial (such as their providing insufficient or inaccurate information). Once we approval a person’s membership, they can login into the website and post comments. Guest membership lasts for 6 months, after which Guests must reconfirm their contact information.
We do not sell or trade the names, email addresses, or comments made by our Guests. Each email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
When a person logs in to our site as a Guest on this website, we use software (including cookies) to manage who can add comments to blog posts. (For example, Guests can add comments, but Visitors cannot.) Our Guest cookie enables the Guest to remain logged in so he/she can make comments on more than one page without logging in each time. Our software removes or clears these cookies when the persons logs out.

Clients are persons who purchase products or services from us through this site. Like other electronic commerce sites, software collects each client’s name, address, email address, telephone number, internet protocol address (IP address), and credit card or electronic payment information.
